Maria Cristea, the founder of the MAGIA production chain, is a professional with over 15 years of experience in the kitchen 👩‍🍳. MAGIA is a take away restaurant that is based on durable and sustainable principles, fighting against food waste through concrete and innovative measures🌱. Maria’s passion for the kitchen and hard work turned her dream into a reality ✨, and MAGIA represents the crowning of this dedication. Maria, with a remarkable experience in the culinary field, brought to life a restaurant concept that not only serves delicious food 🍲, but also contributes to protecting the environment🌍. Together with Maria, participating in the FOOD CHASE project 🏃‍♀️, we aim to revolutionize the food production sector through sustainable and sustainable ideas and initiatives 💡. Our shared goal is to create a positive impact on the environment and inspire other businesses to adopt similar practices, ensuring a greener and more responsible future for all 🌿.

Prof. Dr. Raluca Andreea Ion

Prof. Dr. Raluca Andreea Ion is a renowned expert in the agri-food field, with extensive experience in research and teaching, focused on food waste and food security. Throughout his career, he has made a significant contribution to understanding the dynamics of the agri-food chain, addressing complex issues related to food loss and sustainable consumption. He teaches fundamental courses such as Food Security and Safety, Agri-Food Supply Chains and Agromarketing at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, bringing a solid and innovative academic perspective.

Raluca is known for its ability to transform data and theoretical research into practical and applicable solutions, facilitating effective collaborations between producers, processors and distributors. Her academic expertise and analytical skills make her a valuable partner for any initiative to combat food waste and promote sustainability in the agri-food sector. His contribution would be a great fit for the FOOD CHASE project, providing advanced theoretical knowledge and a rigorous methodological approach essential to understanding and solving food waste issues. His varied experience and ability to develop evidence-based solutions will complement the practical expertise of project colleagues, thus facilitating the development of effective and innovative solutions to reduce food waste. 🌟📚

Gabriela Olimpia Sabău

Gabriela Olimpia Sabău has over 20 years of experience in education and sustainable management 🌱. He taught at the Technological High School “Horea” in Marghita, Bihor, and was chief secretary at the Western University “Vasile Goldiș” Arad, Marghita branch 📚. He holds postgraduate studies in Educational Management, a master’s degree in Administrative Law and the Status of Public Servants and a bachelor’s degree in Economic Sciences, majoring in Marketing 🌍.With a degree in chemical engineering from the Technical University of Timișoara, his technical experience allows him to approach sustainability challenges from an innovative and informed perspective 🧪. Actively involved in educational and volunteering projects, Gabriela contributes to the positive change of local communities and supports children through the Cultural-Artistic Association “Barcăul” and Kiwanis International 🌟.
Within the Food Chase project, Gabriela will play a crucial role in promoting ecological and sustainable principles, using her expertise to develop innovative solutions that reduce food waste and encourage sustainable practices 🥗.
